Why is my card not ready instantly after payment?

Just like your regular bank or debit card, StatesCard goes through 2 important steps before being fully active and useable for payments.

Card Issuing:

During this step we submit all of the information required for the card to be issued. 

This ensures you get a unique card number and that the card is registered under the correct name (the name you registered with). This process also ties the card to the US billing address that you will be using when making payments with the card.

Card issuing can take up to 10 minutes. If the page does not refresh automatically please refresh manually.

Card Activation:

After your card is issued you will be able to see your card information like its number, expiry date and security digits (CVV). You can see this info using the "Show Card Number" link.  However - The card cannot be used to make payments until its been activated.

StatesCard activation is done automatically as soon as your card issued.  Card activation can take up to 15 minutes. If the page does not refresh automatically please refresh manually.

After your card is activated you will see the US billing address tied to your card and you will also be able to register to view the transactions made with your StatesCard.
